League Fun and Games
Mystery Games:
- COST: $1.00 per game, see Dennis Todic.
- PULLED: Following the first completed game, then pulled after the socond completed game.
- RULES: Mystery Games are drawn at the front desk after each of the first and second games are completed. Bowlers must watch their score cards to be elgible for the win. Numbers will be drawn until someone wins for each game.
- PAYOUTS: Payouts for each game will be 50% of the money collected in total for the night prior to the end of the first game.
Lucky Strike:
- COST: $2.00 for 3 tickets, see Greg Skotzke
- PULLED: Ticket will be pulled immediately following the first Mystery Game
- RULES:
- Lucky Strike is played in a "progressive pot" style where any remaining balance from the previous weeks is carried over to the next week.
- Tickets may be purchased by teammates, but youmust your own name on the tickets you drop in the pot. The name on the ticket drawn must bowl for the pot, no substitute bowlers.
- In addition to making it fair for all, we ask that bowlers play each week and not only when the pot reaches a certain dollar level. There are exceptions such as sickness or reasons causing an absent for that week.
- Tickets not drawn on any given day will be discarded and all new tickets will be put in the following week of bowling.
- The Lucky Strike ball will be thrown on a different lane than your own!! Be prepared to bring your ball to the designated lane.
- *Bowlers must write their names on the tickets to avoid confusion when the winning ticket is drawn.
- Winning bowler must present matching ticket before bowling for Lucky Strike.
- PAYOUTS:
- First Ball strike; receive 50% of the pot and roll a second ball.
- Second ball only pays remainder of pot on a strike. No prize money will be given for additional pins knocked down on second ball.
- First Ball no strike; receive a $1.00 for each pin knocked down and no second ball is awarded
- First Ball strike; receive 50% of the pot and roll a second ball.
- PERIODS of PLAY:
- There are only two periods of the bowling season when bowlers will have a greater opportunity to participate in winning something. Those periods are at the end of the first half, which is just before the Christmas break. The second is at the end of our season.
- During these two periods, names will be drawn until the entire pot is eliminated. The same rules will apply regarding the First and Second ball as described above.
Over Average:
- Highest over-average scratch score wins.
- Over-Average was new in 2009-10 and hasn't been played the last 3-4 years.
- We may bring it back again in the 2014-2015 season.
